Marge
Bodner Thomas is another member of the talented Bodner family.
Like Joseph, Marge paints with an ethereal quality; but instead of accenting
the strength and moodiness so strongly represented in her brother's
work, she paints in pastel colors which are soft and delicate, possessing
a childlike,
whimsical feeling.
She invites your imagination to play and the mind to rest from the hectic
pace of an all-too-modern society where there is not enough time to
relax, sit back and dream.
Marge admits that through her painting she creates a special place where
you want to escape. As you look at one of her pastels, delicate figures
in fine detail gradually begin to emerge from the light, airy background.
It is this dreamlike quality that makes Marge's work so easy to live
with and has caused her reputation as an accomplished artist to soar.
